New Delhi, Sep 21 (IANS) It was a partly cloudy day here on Wednesday with the maximum temperature settling at 37.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the Met Office said. Thursday is likely to be the same.
"Light rains with thunderstorm are likely to occur during the day on Thursday," an official of the Indian Meteorological Department said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures on Thursday are likely to hover around 36 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The humidity oscillated between a high of 83 per cent and a low of 49 per cent.
The maximum temperature on Tuesday settled at 37.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.3 degrees Celsius, the season's average.
