New Delhi, Sep 17 (IANS) The rosy reviews and reactions to the hard-hitting and poignant "Pink" -- a message-based drama on sexual crimes against women -- have left the Hindi film's lead actor Amitabh Bachchan ecstatic.
"It is maddening to see and hear what is the reaction to 'Pink'! For once, even my modest impressions of film and its factor of success and failure have taken such a beating that... Well... I'm actually enjoying it," Amitabh posted on his blog on Saturday.
The 73-year-old features in the film as a lawyer who fights a case involving three girls and a boy from an influential family. "Pink" has been lauded by multiple critics for bringing forth the importance of understanding the choices young women of today make and about respecting those.
Of course, Big B's performance has been appreciated, and he feels "the rush of adrenalin seems to be in excess".
"That is dangerous... Too much of everything can go horribly wrong," added the actor, who is in the capital city.
"Pink", co-produced by Shoojit Sircar and directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, also features Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Angad Bedi, Piyush Mishra and Dhritiman Chatterjee in pivotal roles.
