Partly cloudy Saturday in Delhi, similar Sunday expected

New Delhi, Sep 17 (IANS) It was a partly cloudy day here on Saturday with the maximum temperature settling at 35.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, the Met Office said and forecast a similar day on Sunday.

"The sky will remain partly cloudy on Sunday," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), adding the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.

The minimum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the humidity oscillated between a high of 78 per cent and low of 50 per cent.

The maximum temperature on Friday settled at 36 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius, average for the season.
