The footballer was unable to give his urine sample on time and was late for his flight back to Manchester until the local police intervened to give him a lift on his way to the airport.
The player almost missed the flight back to Manchester after being held up by doping control authorities after the game, according to a report in goal.com on Friday.
He arrived just in time to board the plane, after being given a lift by a police officer on a motorcycle.
"End of service," the Rotterdam officer tweeted on Thursday. "One player from Manchester United narrowly put on the plane. He could not pee at doping control."
