London, Sep 16 (PTI) Former Destiny's Child star Letoya Luckett has been cast as Morris Chestnut's love interest on his TV series "Rosewood."
The 35-year-old singer/actress, who was one of the original members of the R&B girl group, has booked a recurring role on the upcoming second season of the medical procedural, which follows Chestnut as a top private pathologist, reported Contactmusic.
The role marks her first major role on network TV following stints on "Treme", "Single Ladies", and Dwayne Johnson's "Ballers."
News of Luckett's new role comes weeks after reports surfaced she had divorced her husband, motivational speaker and author Rob Hill, Sr.
The two allegedly tied the knot in January and split about two months later, but other reports suggest they never made it down the aisle at all.
The former couple revealed its engagement on New Year's Eve last year.
