New Delhi, Sep 10 (IANS) Singer Tulsi Kumar, who is the daughter of late Gulshan Kumar and sister of T-Series honcho Bhushan Kumar, says it is a misconception that star children have an advantage in the Hindi film industry.
"I think that this is a misconception that star kids have it easy or have an advantage. Yes, I will agree that they have the initial advantage of getting their first break, but I think it's their talent and their hard work that makes them a name in the industry and gives them the acceptance from their audience," Tulsi told IANS in an e-mail interaction from Mumbai.
The "Soch na sake" and "Saiyaan superstar" crooner shared that it is the "hard work and talent that makes you enter the hearts of your viewers or listeners".
Tulsi, who is associated with T-series Stage Works Academy, which commits to polish and nurture creativity and talent by offering structured courses in the fields of film, music, dance, and performing and media arts, says the Academy helps in honing the talent of their students.
"This Academy will hone the talent of all the exceptionally talented people and at the same time give them an insight into their field by getting them to interact with the various stalwarts of the industry," she said.
