Among foreign participation, there will be three teams each from neighbouring countries Afghanistan and Bangladesh, two from Sri Lanka and one each from Malaysia and Indonesia.
The matches will be played in under-14 (Sub-Junior boys) and under-17 (both boys and girls) category here at the Ambedkar stadium with the increased prize money of Rs.52 lakh. The winners of the tournament in the U-17 grade would be awarded Rs.3.5 lakh and runner up will take Rs.2 lakh while the team that wins the U-14 category will take home Rs.2.5 lakh.
Meanwhile, all the 112 teams will participate in the tournament with the U-14 matches to be played from September 14 to 29, U-17 girls from September 20 to October 10 and U-17 boys from October 4 to 22.
