O.P. Kohli sworn in as MP Governor

Bhopal, Sep 8 (IANS) Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Om Prakash Kohli was here on Thursday sworn in as the new governor of Madhya Pradesh.

Acting Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court Rajendra Menon administered the oath of office to Kohli at a function in Raj Bhawan, officials said.

Kohli, who is also the Gujarat Govenor, has been given the additional charge of Madhya Pradesh after Ram Naresh Yadav's tenure in office got over on Wednesday.

Kohli is the 26th Governor of Madhya Pradesh.
