Josh Peck to make guest appearance in ‘Pitch’

Los Angeles, Sep 8 (IANS) Actor Josh Peck, known for American comedy series "Grandfathered", will make a guest appearance in the upcoming baseball drama "Pitch".

The Kylie Bunbury-starrer has also enlisted "Once Upon a Time" actor Parker Croft for guest spot, reports hollywoodreporter.com.

"Pitch", produced in partnership with Major League Baseball, centres on Ginny Baker, a young female pitcher who defies the odds when she becomes the first woman to play in the major leagues.

Peck will play Ross O'Malley, an overeager and "neo-geeky" young techno nerd who works as an analyst on Oscar's (Mark Consuelos) team. The casting marks a reunion for Peck with "Pitch" creator Dan Fogelman, who also executive produced "Grandfathered".

Croft is set as Jordan, an old friend and high school teammate of one of the characters.

They will both appear in the fifth episode of the drama. The show will beam in India from September on Star World and Star World HD.
