London, Sep 7 (IANS) Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner has moved to Nottingham Forest in a two-year contract in a free transfer deal, the English football club's president, Fawaz Al-Hasawi, announced on Wednesday.
"Please welcome Nicklas Bendtner who has joined #NFFC on a two-year deal," Hasawi wrote on his Twitter account.
The agreement is yet to be announced officially by the English club, who are taking part in the Championship this season, reports Efe.
Bendtner, 28, arrives at Nottingham after leaving German side Wolfsburg last April.
The striker, who played for Denmark in 72 games and scored 29 goals, has returned to England where he played for Arsenal, Birmingham and Sunderland.
