New Delhi, Sep 7 (IANS) Indian film producer Guneet Monga and film critic Manoj Barpujari have been added to the jury of the upcoming 21st Busan International Film Festival.
Monga, who has been associated with films like "Gangs Of Wasseypur", "The Lunchbox" and "Masaan", will look after the New Current section of the festival.
"Excited to be one of the jury members this year at Busan International Film Festival for the New Currents. Looking forward to films and friends," Monga posted on her Facebook page.
She will be on the jury alongside Malian film director Souleymane Cisse, Dutch film producer Bero Beyer, Korean director Zhang Lu and Iranian director Mahmoud Kalari, according to the official website of the festival.
Meanwhile, Barpujari will be a part of the FIPRESCI Award section and will be joined by Turkish film critic Engin Ertan, Korean film critic Chang Seok Yong, Bangladeshi director Golam Rabany Biplob, Lithuanian programmer of Vilnius International Film Festival Edvinas Puksta and Kim Hyeon su, representative of Cinema-people-theque Corner Theater from Korea.
The Best Actor and Best Actress award of the year will be looked after by actors Kim Uiseong and Cho Min-su.
In the Wide Angle section, Taiwanese filmmaker Wu Yii Feng, Italian director of the Festival dei Popoli, Alberto Lastrucci and South Korean film history researcher Cho Young-Jung will see through the BIFF Mecenat Award - Documentary Section.
Amongst the Sonje Award - Short Film Section, Bangladeshi director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Munich Film Festival programmer Bernhard Karl from Germany and Korean film critic Nam Da Eun have been selected.
The 21st Busan International Film Festival will be held from October 6-15.
