Odisha fishermen asked not to venture into sea

Bhubaneswar, Sep 5 (IANS) Fishermen in Odisha have been told not to venture into the sea after the Met department on Monday warned of heavy rainfall and strong gusty surface winds.

The impact of a low pressure over the Bay of Bengal would make the sea very rough.

"Rain or thundershower is likely to occur in most places over Odisha during the next 24 hours," said a bulletin.
