New Delhi, Sep 2 (IANS) It was a pleasant and cloudy Friday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average so far.
"The sky will remain generally cloudy throughout the day. Ligth rains or drizzling is likely to occur in some areas," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius.
The National Capital on Thursday recieved an average of 5.9mm rainfall, with maximum rainfall in the Palam area at 18.9 mm.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 86 per cent.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled at 30.4 degree Celsius, four notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
