New Delhi, Sep 1 (IANS) Actor Harshvardhan Rane, who considers himself a "big admirer" of Bejoy Nambiar, says he is keenly waiting to start shooting for the filmmaker's next movie -- a remake of Mani Ratnam's 1988 film "Agninatchathiram".
The film, which will also feature Dhanush, was reportedly to go on floors from August, but now has been shelved for some time now.
Talking about the delay in the shooting, Harshvardhan told IANS: "As an actor, all I can keep my focus on is that I am a part of good projects. But, finally the film's fate is decided by the director and producer."
"I am a very big admirer of Bejoy's films, and have waited for five months to be part of his film. But I have no regrets and will wait for an indefinite time as if I love and believe in something, I do it completely and unconditionally," he said.
Harshvardhan, who was last seen on-screen in "Sanam Teri Kasam" opposite Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, will also be seen in "Satra Ko Shaadi Hai", which is produced by John Abraham.
Asked whether he is trying to build a romantic hero image for himself in Bollywood, Harshvardhan said: "Why not? If not in real life, at least I can have the fortune of being a romantic (person) in films."
"'Satra Ko Shaadi Hai' is a very sweet film. It was the first film that I shot. I play a shy small town boy in it which is an absolute contrast to what I played in 'Sanam Teri Kasam'."
Co-directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, "Sanam Teri Kasam" will premiere on &pictures on September 4.
