The total prize money for the event, which includes the Great Delhi Run (6 km), the Senior Citizen's Run (4 km), and the Champions with Disability (4 km), in addition to the feature race, will be $2,70,000, it was announced at a press conference here at a city hotel.
"As we enter into another edition of the ADHM, it is inspiring to see its growth and evolution over the last eight years. It is a blessing to have the unwavering support and encouragement of all those invested in this event," said Procam International managing director Anil Singh, the promoter of the event.
"ADHM is today undoubtedly the most anticipated sporting event in Delhi's sporting calendar and has deservedly earned its place as th e most prestigious half marathon in the world," he added.
The entry fee for the Half Marathon is Rs 1,700, for the Great Delhi Run it is Rs 600, Senior Citizen's run is Rs 300 and Champions with Disability is Rs 250.
The half marathon route will cover eminent landmarks, including Parliament House, Rajpath, India Gate, Delhi Golf Club, Lodhi Road and Sansad Marg.
