Granada (Spain), Aug 30 (IANS) Brazilian midfielder Andreas Pereira on Tuesday said he chose Granada because he likes the "playing style" of the Spanish football club.
Pereira, 20, who moved from Manchester United to Granada for one season on loan, said he was "very happy" after his former club's coach Jose Mourinho praised him last Friday, reports Efe.
At his appearance before the media as a new player at Granada, the Brazilian midfielder pointed out he will work hard to return to Manchester United, but he is currently focusing on serving the Spanish team, which showed "great interest" in signing him.
Pereira, who debuted with Granada last Sunday against Las Palmas, added that he talked to the Spanish team coach Paco Jemez and hopes to help his teammates.
David Navarro, manager of Granada, said the Brazilian player had "numerous offers from prestigious European clubs" saying that Pereira is a "talented midfielder".
