Nine killed in Cambodia bus-truck collision

Phnom Penh, Aug 30 (IANS) Nine persons were killed and four others seriously injured in a collision between a truck and a mini-bus in Cambodia's Battambang province, an official said.

The accident took place on Monday in Mong Russey district when the speeding truck tried to overtake a vehicle and hit the mini-bus coming from the opposite direction, Xinhua news agency quoted an official as saying.

"Two vehicles' drivers and seven passengers were killed on the spot as four others sustained severe injuries in the crash," the official said.
