Modi, Jung want Maliwal to be arrested, removed: Kejriwal

New Delhi, Aug 27 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal was likely to be arrested and then removed from her post as this is what Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lt Governor Najeeb Jung allegedly want.

"Sources-LG and PMO hell bent on removing Swati Maliwal for doing gud job. She'll be arrested coming week and then removed," Kejriwal tweeted.

He also claimed in another tweet that the LG was "hell bent" on removing the team which made mohalla clinics and saved money on flyovers.

Kejriwal posted a series of tweets with the news clipping where Jung has reportedly said that he was trying to undo wrongs that were done by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government.

He spoke of the demand of the AAP government asking for land from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for setting up ten hospitals as Modi and Jung have refused the proposal.

"There are numerous decisions of AAP govt of public importance which Modiji wants to be reversed through LG," Kejriwal said.

Delhi Home Minister Satyendar Jain also blamed Jung for misusing his power by overturning the work done by the AAP government.

"LG was appointed to co-ordinate in working, instead he is misusing his power by interfering in government work," said Jain.

He blamed Jung for interfering in the work done under mohalla clinics and asked whether he (Jung) wants to overturn the construction of additional rooms in city schools.

Citing Jung's statement that around 250 files of Delhi government are lying on his table, Jain said that it reflects the initiative of the ruling AAP.

"Can he (Jung) tell any single work done by him during his one year tenure from February 14, 2014 to February 14, 2015 (when President's Rule was in place in Delhi)," he asked.
