Hollande discussed the state of terrorism menace and took stock of measures to ensure security at the start of the new academic year next week, Xinhua news agency cited.
The French President also outlined plans for army participating in military operations outside the country, the statement added.
Since November 2015, due to a series of terror attacks in France, the government had raised the terror alert to the highest level and tightened security by deploying additional thousands of police officers across the country, reinstalling border control, and improving intelligence services.
