According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), after days of nil rainfall, Wednesday is expected to turnout a rainy day.
"The sky would remain generally cloudy and thunderstorm/rains are most likely to occur," said an official.
According to the official, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 32 degree Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m was recorded at 81 per cent and the rainfall in the past 24 hours was nil.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 27.7 degrees Celsius.
