Addressing a press conference at the state BJP headquarters here, Tendulkar said Shah will visit Goa on August 20 to address a series of meetings, including one with BJP's booth workers, which will serve as a "tonic".
Tendulkar said: "Addressing booth workers has been Amit Shah's style. He had done the same thing in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and other states before Lok Sabha elections and got great results for the party."
BJP won 71 out of 80 seats in UP in the 2014 General Elections.
"Our national President will be visiting Goa on August 20 and through the day hold a series of meetings with booth workers, legislators and party office bearers in the state. This will serve as a tonic for all of us ahead of the 2017 state assembly polls," Tendulkar said.
