Rome, Aug 17 (IANS/AKI) A bishop in Italy's southern Sicily region on Wednesday pledged to take legal action over the globally successful mobile game Pokemon Go, claiming it is evil and a threat to society.
"The security of the world's men and women is at stake and we must protect this," Antonio Stagliano, the bishop of the city Noto, said.
The "diabolical" game creates an addiction and is "alienating thousands upon thousands of young people," Stagliano said.
"It's a totalitarian system similar to Nazism," he said.
Pokemon Go is a product of the US software company Niantic.
