Rio de Janeiro, Aug 14 (IANS) Indian shuttlers Manu Attri and Sumeeth Reddy defeated Hiroyuki Endo and K. Hayakawa of Japan in straight games in a Group D match of the men's doubles competition at the Rio Olympics here.
The Indians fought off a spirited challenge by the Japanese duo in the opening game to win 23-21, 21-11 in just 34 minutes at the Riocentro Pavilion 4 here on Saturday.
