PG owners held for not informing about foreigners

Gurgaon, Aug 13 (IANS) Three paying guest owners were arrested here for not informing police about foreigners who stayed with them, authorities said on Saturday.

Jagmohan Singh, a resident of Delhi's Badarpur Extention who runs a guest house at South City 1 area, did not alert the police about a Syrian couple.

Similarly, Satish Bhatia of Gurgaon's Housing Board Colony did not fill up the mandatory Form C about the stay of a Chinese national.

Also, Mahesh Yadav was arrested for keeping quiet about a Danish national staying in his guest house in Sector 39 since August 1.

The arrests were made by police personnel who were checking hotels, guest houses and other such places ahead of Independence Day on August 15.
