New Delhi, Aug 13 (IANS) It was a cloudy Saturday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
Till 8. 30 a.m., the city had received 29.8 mm rainfall in the past 24 hours, the weather office said.
"The day will remain cloudy ahead and light rainfall is likely to occur towards the evening," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius, the official said.
According to the weather office, humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 89 per cent.
Friday's minimum and maximum temperature was recorded at 26.2 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius respectively.
