Mumbai, Aug 12 (IANS) Ahead of Independence Day, e-commerce platform Paytm has launched a video to campaign against corruption in India.
The over one-minute video encapsulates three scenarios, in which instead of exchanging cash as bribe, people exchange emotions. It ends with a strong social message of possibilities.
"The video is true to our cash-free nation message," Jaskaran Kapany, Vice President, Paytm, said in a statement.
"With our app allowing seamless digital cashless transactions possible across all major consumer touch-points from kirana shops to payment of school or college fees, from payment of auto fares to electricity or gas bills and many more, the dependence on cash and all its associated evils is considerably reduced," Kapany added.
The message 'cash nahi, Paytm karo' is the brand's attempt to signify how they are working towards India's 'Freedom from Corruption' and is a strong Independence Day message.
