Los Angeles, Aug 13 (PTI) "Breaking Bad" director Michelle MacLaren is all set to direct the feature film adaptation of Kristin Hannah's novel "The Nightingale".
TriStar pictures has confirmed Maclaren's name for its new venture, reported Entertainment Weekly.
The story will be set in France on the eve of World War II as two sisters attempt to survive the German occupation of their country.
MacLaren will direct from a screenplay by Ann Peacock (Nights in Rodanthe), with final edits by her and John Sayles.
