India’s Manish Singh finishes 13th in men’s 20km race walk

Rio de Janeiro, Aug 13 (IANS) India's Manish Singh finished 13th in the men's 20km race walk event at the Rio Olympics here on Friday.

Manish clocked 1:21:21 in the race.

The event was dominated by Chinese runners.

Zhen Wang clinched the gold clocking 1:19:14 followed by compatriot Zelin Cai who clocked 1:19:26 to take the silver medal.

Australia's Dane Bird-Smith took the bronze medal with a timing of 1:19:37.
