The awards will be part of the three-day "IoT India Congress 2016" to be held in Bengaluru from September 6-8.
"With this award, we aim to give impetus to the individuals who have played a critical role in evolving revolution of IoT in India," said Rishi Bhatnagar, Chairman, IoT India Congress Organising Committee, in a statement.
The "IoT India Congress 2016" has been conceptualised and designed by the members of the The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) -- an independent think-tank led by select industry leaders.
Nominations are open for those who have made exemplary contributions towards the advancement of the Internet of Things or its adoption in the country. The submissions close on August 22.
