London, Aug 8 (PTI) Singer Duncan James is worried about his health as it has postponed his debut in the TV show "Hollyoaks".
The 38-year-old "One Love" hitmaker opened up about the emergency surgery of his back injury in June, and said he is still unable to walk properly, reported Digital Spy.
"Doctors told me I could have spent the rest of my life in a wheelchair - or died. The feeling in my leg may take years to come back - and it may never return," James said.
The musician-actor, who called his treatment's experience-"a game-changer" and recalled the time when he found that he was not fine.
"I was getting headaches like I've never had before. It was throbbing. It was agony and I felt sick. And I could feel a swelling in my back that I knew wasn't right.
"It was a Saturday night, and I was with mum watching TV.
Suddenly I'm soaking wet. My back had opened, and all this fluid, called cerebrospinal fluid, was just pouring out of me.
