New Delhi, Aug 4 (IANS) Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Delhi Dynamos on Thursday roped in midfielders Denson Devadas and Amoes Do, adding more depth to the squad for the cash-rich football league later this year.
Denson, who started his career with Chirag United in 2004, joined the team from Sporting Clube de Goa, while Amoes, a central attacking box-to-box midfielder, came from Ozone FC.
Known for his ability to change the complexion of any match with his ability in set-piece situations, Denson is optimistic about the opportunity.
"I am thankful to Delhi Dynamos for this wonderful opportunity. I hope to contribute as much as I can in the success of the club. I know that the club strives for excellence and success and this is the sole reason why I have joined the Dynamos," Denson said.
Speaking on the new signings, Dynamos head coach Gianluca Zambrotta said he is happy as both the players will bring the depth to the squad.
"Our signings over the past couple of weeks make it quite evident that we want to build a very strong team for the season," Zambrotta said.
"I have heard about the ability of the two players from the management and the backroom staff and after analysing their videos and careers I am delighted to welcome them into our family," he added.
"They will add depth to the squad and will surely play a huge role in the club's success in the upcoming season."
