Hanoi, Aug 3 (IANS) Many countries have registered to attend the fourth Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF) slated for November.
The festival previously only invited movie producers in the Asia-Pacific region, Xinhua news agency reported.
French director Regis Wargnier and actress Catherine Deneuve of "Indochine", which was filmed in Vietnam and won an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, will attend the HANIFF 2016.
Organised every two years, the 2016 event will be held under the theme "Cinema-Integration and Sustainable Development" from November 1 to 5.
