Super Star Rajinikanth also could not escape the hackers taking over his twitter account. The Kabali stars official Twitter handle @superstarrajini, was hacked last night. Ardent fans of Thalaivar were in a shock when the actor had tweeted Rajinikanth #HitToKill. Fans world over were taken aback seeing this tweet from his official handle. Later on it came to light that it is a work of a hacker who hacked into his official twitter account. A few hours later, Rajinikanths daughter and director Aishwarya R Dhanush confirmed the news on Twitter and ensured that the actors handle had been retrieved. She wrote, @superstarrajini appas account was hacked..handle retrieved.

Celebrities like Kamal Haasan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kabalis director Pa Ranjith, Kabalis producerKalai Puli S Thanu and publicist Riaz Ahmed were followed before the tweet. After his account was restored, the aforementioned celebrities were unfollowed. Rajinikanth has over three million followers on Twitter.
