Aman Trikha wants to prove himself in all genres

Mumbai, Aug 3 (IANS) Aman Trikha, who sang the song "Jaaneman Aah" from the film "Dishoom", on Tuesday said that dance numbers are the most difficult to sing, but he still wants to prove himself in other genres.

"Dance number is the most difficult because you have to combine everything and present, while in slow songs you have to go slowly and talk delicately, but in a fast song you have to go up and then suddenly come down," Aman said in an interview.

"I recently sang in an Oriya film, and a lot of multilingual songs and even in Bollywood lot of interesting songs are coming up, which is very important for my career and profile. I have sung a lot of fast songs, but in the other genres, I want to prove myself and excel in it. I want to sing more such songs so that even the audience knows that I can present songs in various ways," the singer expressed.

Before "Jaaneman Aah", Aman has sung for superstars like Salman Khan in "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", Akshay Kumar in "OMG-Oh My God", "Khiladi 786", Amitabh Bachchan in "Bhootnath Returns", Ajay Devgn in "Son of Sardaar", and Aamir Khan in "Satyamev Jayate".

"I am fortunate. I just wish to contribute back to music, what music had given me. And when different kinds of composers make me sing different kinds of songs I feel very good...I like challenges very much as I know that there is still a lot that I want to do and offer. So I want to get songs where I can express myself further. In Narendra Jha's 'Father', I have sung a very beautiful ghazal 'Waqt-E-Fursat'," Aman said.

Aman had also given his voice to Bharatiya Janata Party's anthem "ache din aane wale hain" before general elections 2014 as well as it's victory song post elections.
