The caravan is loaded with essentials that it has collected through donations across Pakistan.
According to a statement by FIF, "the caravan will leave Muzffarabad on Tuesday for Chakothi (border Village near Line of Control) from where the essential supplies will be sent to Kashmir from Kaman Bridge (which connects the Pakistani Kashmir with Indian one)".
The essential supplies contains rice, oil, fresh and dry vegetables, clarified butter, baby food and medicines worth lakhs, the statement said.
Hafiz Abdul Rouf of FIF said that "the Indian markets in occupied Kashmir are shut for last three-weeks due to the ongoing curfew and restrictions, the Kashmiri people are suffering badly due to the ongoing unrest, so we will be sending every possible help to our brothers there".
He accused the global humanitarian organisations and world bodies of being "silent" on the Kashmir issue.
