Pleasant Sunday morning in Delhi

New Delhi, July 31 (IANS) It was a pleasant morning in the national capital on Sunday with the minimum temperature settling at 26 degree Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

According to the weather office, at 8.30 a.m., humidity was 95 per cent and the city has received 23.2 mm rainfall in past 24 hours.

"There will be a generally cloudy sky with moderate rainfall likely to occur in different parts of the city," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 30 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.

Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 30.1 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average while the minimum was 26.0 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
