Los Angeles, Aug 1 (PTI) "Captain America" star Chris Evans is in talks to play the lead role of Tom Jackman in "Jekyll".

The film, an adaptation of 2007 BBC One series, the movie is being produced by Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman, reported Deadline.

The project is yet to have a director.

The miniseries was not a straight adaptation of the Robert Louis Stevenson novella; rather.

In the miniseries, James Nesbitt played Jackman, a modern-day descendant of Jekyll who is beginning to exhibit the trademark split personality.
