Delhi has received an average of 12.9 mm rainfall over the past 24 hours.

The weatherman said that the national capital region (NCR), which has witnessed patchy to moderate rainfall since Saturday morning, will see more rain through the day, providing relief from humidity.

"Rainfall on Saturday would be moderate in the entire NCR including Faridabad, Gurgaon and Noida. The rain would not be continuous," an official at the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

According to weather analysts, the rainfall would be slightly lower on Sunday but increase on Monday.

"The rains on Sunday would drop but increase on Monday. It would be intermittent rainfall till Monday," Private Weather Forecaster Skymet's director Mahesh Palawat told IANS.

The temperature at 11.30 a.m. On Saturday was 29.3 degree Celsius.

The humidity is expected to increase in sync with the temperature and thus would be bearable.

"Humidity is expected to remain high between 90 to 80 per cent. However, it would not be uncomfortable because temperature will remain low at 30 degrees. The humidity irritates when its high and temperature is about mid 30s," Palawat said.
