Los Angeles, July 28 (IANS) âThe Walking Deadâ actor Lennie James is in negotiations to join the âBlade Runnerâ sequel, starring Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling.
Directed by âSicarioâ helmer Denis Villeneuve, the film also stars Robin Wright and Mackenzie Davis, reports variety.com.
Cinematographer Roger Deakins will reunite with Villeneuve on the project.
The sequel, set several decades after the original, is written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green and succeeds the initial story by Fancher and David Peoples, which was based on Philip K. Dickâs novel âDo Androids Dream of Electric Sheepâ.
The plot details of the sequel are still under wraps.
On the film side, James most recently portrayed James Brownâs father Joseph Gardner Brown in the biopic âGet on Upâ. The movie will release on October 6, 2017.
