London, July 27 (IANS) Arsenal head coach Arsenal Wenger heaped lavish praise on young football talent Rob Holding saying he is very âpromising".
â(We chose to take him from Bolton Wanderers because of his quality,â Wenger told Arsenal's website on Tuesday.
âHeâs a young, promising centre back. You donât find centre backs that often and we can educate them when theyâre at that age.â
Holding is set to make his debut on their pre-season tour of America as defenders Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker may not be available for the games. Holding spent the last season on loan with Bury F.C.
The coach is also content with the improvement of 18-year-old Poland midfielder Krystian Bielik who Arsenal roped in from Legia Warsaw.
âWe can give them all the ingredients we think are important,â he said.
âKrystian Bielik is developing well now and he can also be used as a central midfielder, so overall itâs an opportunity I wanted to take because thatâs a difficult position to find nowadays.â
