In a statement, the company said its profit after tax for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 increased by 21 per cent to Rs 121.25 crore from Rs 100.08 crore posted during the previous year's corresponding quarter.
The company's revenue for the period under review grew to Rs 2,880.94 crore from Rs 2,574.09 crore in the quarter ended June 2015.
During the quarter ended June 2016, TVS Motor logged an overall two-wheeler sales of 7.01 lakh units up from 6.08 lakh units registered in the quarter ended June 2015.
Three wheelers registered sales of 17,337 units in the quarter under review as against 30,229 units in the first quarter of 2015-16.
