Every day three flights will take off from the state carrying 300 passengers each, district magistrate Raj Shekhar said while reviewing the preparations for the holy pilgrimage of Muslims.
The vaccination of Haj pilgrims selected this year began at the State Haj Committee office from Monday and more than 100 pilgrims have so far been vaccinated for meningitis.
Nodal officials said adequate security and traffic arrangements have been made for the expected rush at the Haj House in the state capital, and all amenities for the pilgrims and those who will come to see them off have been put in place.
