Mumbai, July 23 (IANS) Mudassar Aziz, whose last directorial "Dulha Mil Gaya" turned out to be a damp squib at the box office, accepts that a director is as good as his last film.
"My last film had not done well at the box office, and that is why people are largely commenting and appreciating the trailer of my new film 'Happy Bhag Jayegi'. A director is only as good as his last film. I want them to say and feel that 'He is come a long way from his first film'," Aziz told IANS.
Aziz is at peace that the film's trailer has been well-received.
"It is very thrilling and satisfying when your trailer is appreciated. There is a lot of hard work that goes into making a film. I feel wonderful about it.
"It's an unusual genre... A cross-border comedy. It is the story of a girl who accidentally lands up across the border while escaping her own wedding. That's the plot of the film," he added.
The movie features Abhay Deol, Diana Penty, Ali Fazal, Piyush Mishra and Momal Sheikh.
