New Delhi, July 21 (IANS) Chinese global consumer electronics brand TCL Corporation is all set to launch a new Ultra-HD series of smart televisions with next-generation features in India.
According to company sources, TCL aims to bring revolutionary technologies that give an immersive experience at affordable prices for the Indian consumers.
The TV series will allow viewers to seamlessly connect various devices -- from viewing pictures from a hard drive to using smartphone as remote to streaming content directly on TV. One of the TVs in the Ultra-HD series will sport a curved design.
TCL is also set to unveil its second smartphone TCL 562 in the country towards the end of this month which will come equipped with fingerprint authentication.
The device will be ideal for those looking to create, share and enjoy digital content on the go.
TCL recently entered the Indian market with TCL 560 smartphone which is equipped with a unique eye-verification feature to prevent unauthorised access.
The Rs 7,999 TCL 560 features 5.5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by a quad-core processor paired up with 2GB RAM and runs on Android Marshmallow operating system.
It has in-built storage of 16GB that can be expanded up to 32GB via micro-SD card. The smartphone sports 8MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera with wide-viewing angle.
