New Delhi, July 21 (IANS) Payal Ghosh, who will be making her Bollywood debut with "Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi", says she always wanted to foray into the movie world in the role of a girl next door because the audience relates to these characters easily.
Payal plays a Gujarati girl in the movie, which stars veteran actor Paresh Rawal as her father and comedian Vir Das as her love interest. Rishi Kapoor is also part of the movie.
"They have been very helpful and loving. As I mentioned earlier, there is so much to learn from them. They have been supportive throughout the shoot. They used to encourage me all the time so that I can give my best shot."
"It was a great experience to work with all of them," Payal said in a statement, and added that Vir's cooperative nature makes her want to work with him in the future too.
Payal, who has earlier featured in Tamil movie "Prayanam", says she won't stop working in southern films.
Asked what does it take for a newcomer to make it big in Bollywood, Payal said: "I am a very hardworking person and I don't think there is any set rule. If you have enough luck, your hard work will pay off. Also I believe in the saying, 'Never say never'."
"Whatever comes my way I will do it, no matter how much effort I have to put in.
