Bengaluru, July 19 (IANS) Indian IT major Wipro Ltd on Tuesday projected an higher revenue from its flagship global services business for the second quarter of 2016-17 on achieving the revenue target set for the first.
In a regulatory filing to BSE, the global software firm said revenue from its IT services business would be $1.93-1.95 billion for the quarter ending September 30.
Revenue from IT services grew 7.6 per cent over last year and 2.6 per cent sequentially to $1,931 million under IFRS and Rs.13,100 crore in rupee terms in the first quarter as against projected $1,901-1,939 million.
