Roposo will enhance the impact of Friendicoess on-going endeavours in the realm of adoption of abandoned dogs with the campaign Roposo WOOF which started on Monday.
Based out of Defence Colony in South Delhi, the shelter offers an Out Patients Department. The in-house clinic for strays accommodates about 150-200 animals at any point of time, two operation theatres, a Lab and X-ray unit as well as a sanctuary in Gurgaon that houses about a thousand animals.
The NGO also provides a round-the-clock ambulance service for strays as well as an emergency night clinic for pets.
We are huge dog lovers here at Roposo and while we were very keen to work with Friendicoes, we wanted to go beyond mere funding. Instead, we thought we would support their key reason to exist: the adoption of abandoned puppies, Mona Thangaraj, Head of Human Resources at Roposo, said in a statement.
We will be working with Friendicoes to spread awareness internally on dog rights and how to help them when they are injured, Thangaraj added.
