"There would be generally cloudy sky in the day. Rain and thunderstorm is likely to occur at several places," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The official said that Delhi received 26.3 mm rain in the last 24 hours.
The humidity level at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 100 per cent.
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 30 degrees Celsius.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 30.1 degrees Celsius, five degrees below average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
