We often hear about problems for small films in finding theatres during their release. To solve this problem Tamil Nadu government has announced that they will build theatres which will give priority to a small film.With a minimal seating capacity for 150-200 members, these theatres will have a very low ticket price as well with Rs.50 ticket.
As the first step in this direction, two ‘Amma Theatres’ are about to open in Chennai. Two theatres in Shenoy Nagar and T.Nagar are completed and are ready to open in few days. In tollywood too, a proposal for this kind of small theatres is in consideration.
