New Delhi, July 16 (IANS) Delhi woke up to a rainy Saturday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 24.3 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average, the weather office said.
The city has received 43 mm rainfall in the last nine hours.
"The sky would remain cloudy throughout the day. Moderate rainfall and thunder showers were likely to occur in many places," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 30 degrees Celsius, the official said.
According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 a.m. on Friday was recorded at 100 per cent.
Friday's minimum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average while maximum temperature settled at 32.7 degree Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
